The guests entrepreneurs

François Bonvin is one of the co-founders of Base7Booking. Adventure that he started while studying at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). This Swiss hospitality start-up is an all-in-one hotel management software, aiming at supporting hotels by optimizing the sale of their rooms. The beginning of Base7Booking first took place in the EHL incubator, to then move to Lutry and to finally expand to Germany. After winning a FIT loan (Fondation pour l’Innovation technologique) in 2014, Base7Booking was then fully acquired in 2017 by Trivago.

Francois has started his new activity. Since beginning 2017, he is coaching start-ups,  and has also launched his Youtube channel: WizardBonvin. A little provocative, his vision differs from other entrepreneurs.

François Randin is the founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Green Motion SA. François is a software specialist who has developed financial tools, risk analysis and decision support for major banks and insurance companies. In January 2009, he founded Green Motion in Lausanne, convinced that the success of electric vehicles is strongly linked to the establishment of a powerful recharging network. The Swiss company is one of the pioneers of the charging infrastructure market and for more than seven years, it has successfully installed its terminals throughout the country.

In March 2016, Green Motion sold a license of its technology to the Chinese industrial group. Zhongding which aims to put into operation a network of several million terminals in China by 2020. Green Motion is now also active in the Indian market.

Govinda Upadhyay is the founder of LEDsafari. LEDsafari is a social ed-tech start-up based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It aims to assimilate clean energy & sustainable innovation education through a unique science & design training centered around LEDsafari solar kits. Govinda is part of the Forbes list 30 under 30 Europe 2016 for achievements in Ed-Tech ; and received few other prizes such as : EIT Change Award 2015, BITSAA 30 under 30 award 2015. After a master in sustainable technology from TU Eindhoven and KTH SwedenGovinda undertook 3 years of research in sustainable city planning at EPFL Lausanne. As you might have guessed, he is passionate about sustainability and teaching.
